This is what you call a man's soup!

If you have a man in the house, chances are he loves beans. Any way you cook them, he goes crazy. And, we're on quite the chicken kick in my house too, so what could be better than a chicken and bean stew? This bean stew has 15 kinds of beans: Northern, Pinto, Large Lima, Blackeye, Garbanzo, Baby Lima, Green Split, Kidney, Cranberry, Small White, Pink, Small Red, Yellow Split, Lentil, Navy, White Kidney, and Black Beans!!! Can you say Bean Overload?? This soup is every man's dream.

Here's what you will need:
Hurst Hambeens 15 bean soup
4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts.
A bunch of celery
A bag of baby carrots
A bunch of green or white onions
Cajun Seasoning
Cayenne Pepper (optional)
Two boxes or large cans of chicken stock (Or substitute in about 5-7 chicken bullion cubes).

First, rinse and separate the beans to make sure there aren't any rocks or anything "extra" in your beans. If you don't have Hurst Hambeens 15 bean soup, you can use any kind of beans. Put the beans and the chicken stock in the crock pot. If you don't have chicken stock, you can use chicken bullion cubes and water. The crock pot should be filled up about halfway.

Next, spice the stew. I usually add a few Tbsp. of Cajun seasoning and 1/2 tsp. of cayenne pepper. If you don't like your stew spicy, do not add the cayenne pepper!!!!

Then, cube the chicken pieces and add them to the stew. Chop the carrots in half and add them to the stew, then cut the celery into 1/2 inch thick pieces
and add them too. Chop the green onions the same way and add these to the very top.

Since beans expand, make sure there is at least an inch of room at the top of the crock pot so it won't overflow. If you like your stew salty, add a little salt too! Sometimes, I even put a sprinkle of pepper on top too!

One great thing about this stew is that really anything tastes good in it and you can easily customize it to fit your tastes. I've added potatoes before, and random veggies I had in the garden or leftover from other recipes. One thing I like to do to add a little "surprise" is to mince up a few jalapenos and throw them in there.

Cook on high for about 5-6 hours. If it's done, the biggest white beans should be soft. Stir when it's done to mix everything up! This yields about 15 bowls of soup.

Happy Cooking!
Love, Farm Diva

How FD Bullet Jewelry got started.......

Concealed Carry jewelry
Hey y'all! My name is Mandie, the creator of FD Bullet Jewelry. People always ask how I came up with the idea to create bullet jewelry, so I wanted to tell the story of how I started making jewelry out of bullets. I was born on my Dad's 40th birthday, so we decided to go on a 3 week birthday trip to Alaska in June of 2016 and the entire second week I planned 3 fishing trips. Our first day out on the ocean, I felt sick the entire time. Sleeping, throwing up, and fishing, on repeat. But after a couple hours, I finally got a bite.

I wasn't even sure if I had anything, until the deckhand yelled "keep reeling!" Then the adrenaline kicked in. I kept reeling for what seemed like hours and before I knew it, even the captain looked excited. Then the captain motions to the deckhand and he pulls out a little .410 shotgun. The moment he pulled out that  little shotgun, I knew it was going to be a big one. Finally, after 234 feet of reeling that monster up and a quick gun shot, the 80 lb. beast was gaffed into the boat. They gave me the empty bullet casing as a keepsake.

When we got back to Arkansas, my Dad helped me make a bullet ring out of the .410 shotgun shell they shot the fish with. After that, I decided made a pair of .380 bullet stud earrings to match my everyday carry gun. And the rest is history.......... I have a passion for designing jewelry and sharing about guns and personal protection with other women! I am a proud supporter of the 2nd amendment as well as a concealed carry license holder in Arkansas for over 10 years. If you have any questions about concealed carry or a question about guns in general, etc..... shoot me an email and I'm happy to help answer any gun related questions you may have!  Or if you're a woman who wants to ask a question in a safe environment with other like minded women, join my women only private Facebook group, Concealed Carry Divas.

The bullets and shotgun shells I use are authentic once fired bullet casings and shells. The best part is we fire most of these shells ourselves and others are donated to us by local gun stores and gun enthusiasts who don’t have time to re-load but want to recycle their brass. We have bullet jewelry and accessories for men and women and offer silver and gold designs. Most of my designs are from commonly used calibers but I am happy to design a custom piece just for you with your own bullets too! My bullet jewelry that is made with crystals come in over 30 different colors including the twelve birth stones. I have made custom ammunition jewelry orders for 21 gun salutes, concealed carry holders, competition shooters, hunters, soldiers, police men and women and hundreds of second amendment advocates. We use the following calibers most, but we have several different calibers in stock so contact me if you want something different than 9mm Luger, .38 special, .357 Magnum, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .22 long rifle, .380 ACP, 12Gauge, 20Gauge, & AR15.

If you need a different brand or headstamp than what is pictured online, I keep a wide array of pistol rounds, revolver rounds, semi-automatic rounds and shotgun casings in stock, so if you want a different caliber , gauge or brand than what is shown, just message me! I keep many brands in stock such as Winchester, Remington, Federal, Fiocchi, Aguila, CCI, Hornady and more!
